Minnesota Stormwater Monitoring Services - Storm Water Sampling Services

Under the new Minnesota general storm water permit, all permitted facilities will need to conduct stormwater sampling. Facilities will need to conduct quarterly monitoring of their stormwater discharge locations for four consecutive quarters (i.e, one year). The date when the monitoring year begins will depend on the industrial sector a facility falls into, and will begin in either June 2011, August 2011 or October 2011 for most facilities.

The chemical parameters that need to be analyzed for will also depend on the facility’s industrial sector.
